We recently completed a painting project for a client’s lounge area, stairway, and landing, transforming the space with a modern, yet warm aesthetic. The lounge features a striking green accent wall that adds depth and character, perfectly complementing the rest of the room. The remaining walls, including those along the stairway and landing, were painted in a soft beige tone to create a cohesive, airy feel throughout the home. The combination of colors not only enhanced the room’s brightness but also provided a balanced contrast, giving the space a fresh, contemporary look.

In this painting project, we set out to transform a client’s lounge area, stairway, and landing with a fresh color palette that balanced modern aesthetics with warmth. The focal point of the transformation was a vibrant green feature wall, complemented by soft beige on the remaining walls. This color scheme not only enhanced the visual appeal but also created a sense of openness and cohesion throughout the space.
Challenges
The primary challenge was ensuring a smooth transition between the vibrant green feature wall and the soft beige of the surrounding walls, particularly in the stairway and landing areas where access was limited. Navigating tight spaces and high ceilings required careful planning and execution to maintain clean lines and prevent drips. Additionally, we had to address uneven surfaces and previous paint layers that could impact the final finish. By employing high-quality materials and meticulous preparation techniques, we were able to overcome these obstacles, ultimately delivering a beautifully cohesive and inviting space that exceeded the client’s expectations.
