Project Details
The recent plastic wall paneling project in the small toilet room was successfully completed, transforming the space into a more modern and easy-to-maintain area. Alongside the paneling, a new vanity unit with a basin and side tap was installed, which required moving the plumbing. The water pipes, previously located in the corner of the side wall, were relocated to the center of the back wall to accommodate the new unit. This modification not only improved the room’s layout but also enhanced its overall aesthetic. The panels were installed quickly and seamlessly, providing a water-resistant, hygienic solution ideal for high-moisture environments. The neutral color scheme of the panels brightened the room, giving the illusion of more space while also complementing the existing fixtures. Not only did the plastic panels offer an affordable and durable alternative to traditional tiling, but they also required minimal upkeep, making them perfect for a frequently used room like this.

Overview & Challenge
**Overview:**
The project involved updating a small toilet room with modern plastic wall paneling and installing a new vanity unit with a basin and side tap. The paneling provided a sleek, water-resistant finish that was both durable and easy to maintain, making it ideal for a high-moisture environment like a bathroom. The installation of the new vanity required a significant plumbing modification, as the water pipes had to be relocated from the corner of the side wall to the center of the back wall to align with the new unit’s design. The combination of the updated wall panels and vanity unit gave the room a fresh, spacious feel while improving functionality.
**Challenges:**
One of the main challenges of this project was relocating the plumbing. Moving the pipes from the side wall to the back wall required careful planning to avoid damaging the structure and ensure the new piping was properly aligned with the vanity unit. Additionally, working within the confined space of a small toilet room posed difficulties for both the plumbing and paneling installation, limiting maneuverability and requiring precision. Finally, ensuring that the plastic panels seamlessly integrated with the new fixtures without compromising the waterproofing of the room added an extra layer of complexity to the job.
